Edwin Knowles Utility Ware Dinner Plate, Tea Cup & Saucer, Yellow w Red, Fruit

Description

For sale is a semi-vitreous Edwin Knowles Utility Ware set of a dinner plate, tea cup and saucer. The vintage pieces have a great look with gold tone yellow base trimmed with a fine red line. They are decorated with purple grapes, bright yellow, orange and blue flowers and set amid green foliage and brown accents.
The approximate measurements are:
Dinner Plate: 9 1/4” wide, 3/4” high
;
Saucer: 6” wide, 5/8” high
Bread Plate: 6 1/4” wide, 3/4” high;
Tea Cup: 3 3/4” wide across top, 4 1/2” wide including handle, sits on a 1 7/8” base, and stands 2 5/8”
All three pieces are in very good condition with fine crazing on the interior of the cup. The plate is stamped in black ink on the bottom with the id 38-10; the saucer, id 38-8; the tea cup is unmarked.The plate has light wear and there is a
manufacturing error on edge (fully glazed and decorated).
